Just A Note

Happy Monday Blog Friends!!  I hope you had another great weekend – where do they go?  Oh, and the daylight savings thing always throws me for a loop.  But I’m up and creating and today I’m following what I’ve been doing for the past several weeks and trying to kick out a quick card with the Mojo Sketch.  This weeks is Mojo182 and I must say that the sketches make me go to places I don’t ordinarily go.  Do you challenge yourself this way?  I think it’s a great exercise.  You’ll be surprised though, there is not a diecut on this card – I was moving quick and trying to get done within a hour so this is it :-)

I’ve had these little kilt pins forever and always wanted to hang a sentiment from one, so I can check that off my list now, lol.  I also made a couple of baubles with pearls and hung two of them to balance things out.  See, this is a little bit different for me, but I really enjoyed putting it together.  I hope you find some surprises in your crafting this week too!

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Printworks
Paper: K & Company, Bazzill, old book page
Ink: Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories: Recollections Flower, Prima Flower, Ribbon, Kilt pin, pearls

Have a great day, I’ll see you tomorrow!!!  Oh, I have a new poll up!!

Fabulous creation, as always!!! A kilt pin??? Please share where you found this little gem, PLEASE?!!! It’s an adorable addition to this gorgeous card!!! And I think I might see a tiny die cut there, don’t I — LOL?!!! Looks like maybe it’s a tiny tag from Spellbinders retired Tags Five that I just searched for days for and paid a premium to get, as it is nearly out of existence. LOVE that die though, so well worth my efforts!ReplyCancel

I have been challenging myself with some of the various card sketches out their on the Internet. When I see one I like, I cut and paste it into a Word document, then when my page is full, I print it out and start all over again. These have certainly gotten me out of my rut and put that spark for paper crafting back into my life.ReplyCancel
