Introducing Tiered Multi-Loop Bows

New Falll 2015 Diecuts designed by Becca Feeken as a Licensed Designer for Spellbinders Paper Arts - S6-048 Tiered Multiloop Bow - www.amazingpapergrace.com
Good morning sweet friends.  I’m back to introduce another of my new die templates.  No stash is complete without a paper bow, I’m so lucky that I was able to add one to the Spellbinders line up in my collection and I know I will use it often.  Oh yes, I love my ribbon bows but there’s always a time a place for a sweet paper bow and let’s don’t forget – it’s the easiest path to perfection!   I tend to add them to gift boxes and tags and can’t wait to try it with felt.  Without further ad0, introducing S6-048 Spellbinders Tiered Multiloop Bows by Amazing Paper Grace!  I created a card showcasing a wonderful sentiment by Quietfire Design called You Are Sunlight.  Here is the video on how to easily put these together along with some tips that make you a pro from the start:

Having recently shown you how to minc borders on your dies, that’s exactly what I decided to do with the bow using vellum for a delicate look.  You can check out my Minced Borders on Die Cuts Tutorial ——–> HERE.  Underneath the bow you see Spellbinders Baby Buntings (minced borders).  Then finally the bottom layer is embossed using one of my favorite embossing folders – Spellbinders Decorative Applause.

I added on to the ensemble by creating a gift box with a large multiloop bow on top.  Same dies but more of them for a bow in the round – perfect for box tops!

As I dabbled I saw that I could use the bow tails for a banner for sentiments.  I double stacked the small and large tails and used the large bow as the place so stamp ‘Hello there’. My background is Spellbinders Labels Forty Seven and the inlaid lattice is from S6-048 Spellbinders Tiered Multiloop Bows!  You’ll recognize the flowers as Spellbinders Cinch and Go Flowers.

I have yet another project started with this die set and you can see a sneak peek at the end of my Video above :-)

    Hello Becca
I have just watched and liked your Video’s
I don’t own a Minc but I think there must be other ways to copy your cards!
Perhaps a Versamark Pen and Foilflakes that are in my stash from Indigoblu ?
I will give it a try sometime because your cards are so beautiful and your bows are so delightful!
    Wonderful as always Becca!
    Take care

I’m guessing using a gold leaf pen would be the easiest way to get a border on the edges as Becca does. They do a smooth job and last quite a while. HTH. JoniReplyCancel

Hi! Just left the Scrapbook website and saw the bow die and hope to order it. Becca, can I purchase the Dies from you/your website? When I saw your bow it looked translucent…and you explained it was vellum. I too, love using vellum. Beautiful as usual. You have set the bar really, really high! Thank you for sharing.ReplyCancel

ahhh…can see more dies that need to come into my stash. Add those to the Minc machine… :)

Love these – so pretty and elegant and I really like the brad element. You are right – that makes them so much more versatile than other dies like this. I knew there was a reason I’d avoided buying those ones. I was waiting for yours!

Oh Becca! Just when I think that I’ve seen the most beautiful card you’ve ever made, you come up with yet another…and another. These are really exquisite! I LOVE the way you make use of gold (so much that I went hunting for some gold cardstock here where I live) But now that you’ve shown us how to foil with dies, I can’t wait to get stuck in & try to reproduce something of your beautiful style. Love these paper bows – they’re definitely going onto the top of my wish list! Please could you give us an update on your brother Ben; have been praying for him xxReplyCancel

  • Barbara TranquillaOctober 29, 2015 - 2:34 pm

Hi Becca, Oh, you make things so easy for us–hole for the brad, wrap around to hide the middle of the bow, and that sneak peek at the end of the video. I have already purchased 7 of your brand new dies and it looks like this one will be the 8th but will save this one for next month. Love the videos and the finished products. Also never would have thought to use an embossing folder on mirror card paper but the finished piece is outstanding. Thank you so much.

Becca, I saw this die, and had no idea what it was. So glad you did a tutorial on it. I like that it can be used as a bow as well as a paper ribbon bow. Very versatile. Can’t wait to get this one, and try out my new mink pen for the gold edgings. I knew that the pen would definitely come in handy for certain applications and I am thinking this will be one of them. • Clare WOctober 30, 2015 - 10:15 am

Wow! These are a must have. So much so I’ve just ordered them! I’ve been making cinch and go flowers today. They are lovely. But I did stab my finger with the wire when twisting them together. Ouch. There was blood. I’ve also had a go a foiling!!! Not with a Minc machine but with a laminator. It came out a bit grainy which makes it look aged. Think I used too thick card and not hot enough. But will try again next week. Even thinking of buying a laser copier/printer. What have you started Becca?! Only joking. I foiled some dies and then cut them out as per your videos. Don’t think there’s any going back to plain non foiled die cuts now!!!! Happy weekend.ReplyCancel
