I Got Rubber Mail Today

Oh goodness, what is it this week with all the new rubber? I surrender, bring it on! I received a boatload of new stamps today, so you’ll have to live through me enabling you again, lol! These arrived less than 10 hours ago and I’ve already made a card. I think my eagerness matches the magnificence of these stamps!!  Quietfire Design has introduced a whole new series of rubber stamps and you can see all the new releases HERE – this one is called You May Not Be Able To Leave Your Children.

That sentiment is amazing!!  Since it references weaving, I decided to stay with fibers, lace, I incorporated more of my cross stitch fabric on the left and I covered my panel with sheer lace.  I stayed with a tone on tone palette and lots of pearls.  I pulled two Spellbinders templates to use – Spellbinders Fleur de lis Squares and Spellbinders Lacey Squares.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Quietfire Design – You May Not Be Able to Leave Your Children
Paper: Strathmore Acrylic, Coredinations Tan Pearl
Ink: Colorbox Pigment Ink – Cocoa
Accessories: Spellbinders Fleur de lis Squares, Spellbinders Lacey Squares, Pearls, Zva Creative Pearls, Seam Binding, Lace, Cross stitch fabric, Felt rose

Be good friends, I have a busy day in store but I’ll see you soon!

    Hi there –
Well, I’m new to your site and very, very impressed. My friend Linda told me about your workmanship and she certainly was right – you are more than talented!
It is so inspiring to see people using their imagination and willing to share their techniques. We need more of that kind of spirit.
I, too, love to create greeting cards with the many beautiful rubber stamps as well as hand-painting both the cards and scenic murals. However, I do have a slight bit of difficulty with some projects as I only have one arm – lost my left arm to cancer nearly 6 years ago.
I may not master your beautiful bows but I’m having a great time!
    Thanks again for sharing!ReplyCancel
