Happy Easter

Sweet Friends!  Happy Easter!  He is Risen!  My best wishes to you and your loved ones as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord!

I spent a blissful yesterday amongst sweet friends at a wonderful stamping meeting.  I have the blessed fortune of being in a club of wonderful women who have gathered each month for over nine years.  My precious friend Nancy is a CTMH representative and she emails us and tells us how many pieces of paper to bring and then we show up and get busy while we have no idea what we are making.  You can’t know how rewarding it is to show up and be the student.  Yesterday, Nancy sat us down with a paper cutter and called out sizes for us to cut and this is what we ended up with.  Can you believe it???  As she would say, and I wholeheartedly agree, this is stinkin’ cute!!  What an appropriate gift for a little one today.  It contains just enough chocolate to remind you of how much you like it but not as much as a diabetic Easter Basket, lol!!

This little box holds two Ghirardelli bars and eight chocolate nuggets.  Unfortunately I don’t have instructions to pass along because I didn’t design it, but I could not resist sharing it.  I’ll certainly add it to my repertoire for gift giving time.   The papers I pulled were Colorbok, Flea Market and some Bazzill Paper.  I don’t always make the right choice when I’m working blind on a project, but this time I think I got it right.

Have a wonderful Easter!  Blessings!!

First, your bows were awesome and thanks for the ideas. Second this box and chocolates are fabulous, what a fun idea and wonderful day you had. My friends DH made us all bow makers off your’s and they are fantastic, he used a lot more pegs but we can just take them off so it works great. Thanks so much for the instructions.ReplyCancel

Oh my gosh – it IS stinkin’ cute! The creativity the comes through this blog is mind boggling. I know how dear these club meetings can be. It’s so fun to be able to step outside of the box even if just for a little while, and share fun and laughter with others. In my mothers day, it was quilting bee’s. It’s always something to look forward to. I’m glad for you that you have that opportunity.

Yes – Christ is Risen! And a very blessed Resurrection Sunday to you and yours.

May you also receive the blessings from the One who lives. This is the highest, the apex of all we have or will ever have…a place with our Lord. This gift, so freely given but ignored by too many…what a forfeit for a worldly life.”I serve a risen Savior; He’s in the world to day, I know that He is living, no matter what men may say… He lives, He lives, Christ Jesus lives today…He walks with me and talks with me, along life’s narrow way, He lives, He lives; salavation to impart. You ask me how I know He lives…He lives within my heart.
You are such a blessing to me.

I think you chose perfect on this project! Maybe you could convince your friend to pass along all the measurements and directions – or if she has a blog to post it and we could check out her site for instructions? If this happens I would definitely like to know because I love the container and would like to try making one. I hope you have had a wonderful Easter.ReplyCancel

This project looks very similar to a project posted on my blog on Jan. 28, 2010 called the Candy carrying Case. I do have detailed instructions for the project if anyone is interested. I like the paper used to make this one along with the fabulous flower, too!!! And, of course, if Becca made it – it’s always fabulous!!!! Thanks for sharing!!! Love it!!!!
