Good Wishes – New Cuttlebug Snow Dots

WooHoo, a couple of my new embossing folders came in yesterday…they were ordered more than a month ago…grrrrr.   It was great to get to play with them, and again I resorted to the foil paper – this is a precious shade of light blue.  This card is a big one…I think I got carried away because with the snow dots you can do endless embossing, you just keep adding on to the start and it all meshes due to how they laid out the folder.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Stampendous – Angel, Printworks – Sentiment
Paper:  Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor, Foil Paper – Walmart
Ink – Black Brilliance
Accessories: Cuttlebug Snow Dots Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Nestabilities, Quickutz Swirl,  Martha Stewart Scallop Border Punch, Fiskars Border Punch, Snowflake Punch

I’ll hopefully have time today to play some more!!  Life is good!

Wow!! Picture me sitting here in my jammies this morning and checking in to see if you had added anything new yet- now do you see me picking my chin up off the floor :D ? This is hands down the most gorgeous Christmas card I have ever seen! That little angel stamp is so adorable and I love the snowflake punched out of the side. Love the colors too…. well, love everything about it! AWESOME and AMAZING are two words that just don’t do this card justice :D. Have a blessed day Becca!

Wow, that is a cute little angel set in the coolest (oh my, too punny) setting :) I LOVE the light blue foil. I’m going to have to make a little trip off to my Walmart to check it out. I’m not huge into angels, but this is absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration. God bless you.ReplyCancel

    Well Becca,

I guess I am going to have to access a Thesaurus to find some more adjectives… there must be others beyond: beautiful, outstanding, magnificent, awesome!!!

Another outstanding card, Becca – beautiful – and I just love that you’re going BIG. I think you Americans always make such small cards. In UK my standard card would be A5 size- in your terms that’s 8.3 inches by 11.7 inches folded in half. I am ordering this folder myself and now I have some inspiration to go by, thank you so much.ReplyCancel

    Hi:
Congrats on the DT, off course they asked you stay on with those amazing cards.
    Question
How do you have the embossing line from the folder on the cb?
Mine always come out with the line in it’s entirety..
Where do you purchase your folders?
    Thanks

I loved your card. How big was the Angel stamp? Where did the tag that you stamped “Good Wishes” onto come from? Is that a Cuttlebug die? I hope you can answer direct or on your blog?ReplyCancel

    Hi Becca,
I love the Stampendous angel that you used on the Good Wishes and the new Cuttlebug Snow dots embossing folder. You posted this card on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. I have looked everywhere for this little angel. I even looked on the Stampendous site and also in a catalog that a scrapbooking store had of the Stampendous stamps to see if they could order it for me. No luck, so I am wondering if you can let me know if it was in a set or where I can find it. Thank you so much.ReplyCancel

Becca, I love the card that you used with the blue foil paper. I like working with the foil paper and the cuttlebug embossing folders. I went last night to WalMart to look for the light blue foil paper that you used on this card but was unable to find it. Do you know of any place else that might carry the light blue foil paper? I had the green, bright blue and red from years back and just recently ordered some more JoAnn’s Fabric. But I am looking for purple and the light blue. Any help that you give would be great.

    thanks
