Give Yourselves Fully

Time is winding down on my The Girls Paperie give away. You can click — > HERE to get to the correct post to leave a comment.

Good afternoon blog friends!!  Where did the day go!!  I’m creating away but finished off a card I started earlier, so I wanted to share.  I pulled out the new crochet circle die template from Our Daily Bread Designs and paired it with the new Crochet Border and sentiment from the Serve the Lord set.

Using watercolor paper, I stamped everything in Stazon Ink then applied Antique Linen Distress dauber on the paper to give it some color.  The flowers were watercolored using distress inks.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Our Daily Bread DesignsServe the Lord
Paper: Strathmore Watercolor Paper, My Minds Eye, Bazzill
Ink: Stazon Black, Stazon Brown, Distress Reinkers, Antique Linen Ink Dauber
Accessories: Crochet Border Die Template, Crochet Doily Die Template, Spellbinders Standard Circles SM, Recollections Pearls, Recollections Gem, Seam Binding, Pearl Pick, Lace

Thanks for stopping by!  I have a new poll starting tonite and I’ll see you in the morning!!

Love this card, Becca. The distressed Linen give the card an antique look. I really like the way you used the black to bring out the colors. As a background, it gives your beautiful watercolored flowers just the perfect “punch”. Beautiful!ReplyCancel

    Good morning,
Again, your card ranks at the top. I am commenting on the poll this time. When I make birthday cards for our monthly “Y” birthday party, I use almost all of the other types of paper crafting so it is not the same design each month. Thus, I could not pick just one from the poll. I use your card ideas for part of the card and the other ideas to finish the card. Although I have alot of stamps, I don’t use many. Makes it all fun and the people actually save the cards from year to year. One person “regifts” the cards back to me for my birthday. What fun! Thanks again for all your great ideas.ReplyCancel
