Give Thanks for Simple Blessings

Hello there!  I was in the mood for stacking, layering, ribbon and some Graphic 45 goodness to go along with my JustRite stamps so after playing around I have a card to share.  I pulled out JustRite Autumn Blessings Borders and Centers Oval and selected the Give Thanks sentiment because I wanted a dressy card and the script font works well.  I stamped and hand cut the sentiment then layered it on Spellbinders Labels Ten #2.  Then I stamped the border and cut/embossed it with Spellbinders Labels Ten #3 and layered it on Spellbinders Classic Ovals SM #5

For the larger motif, I cut with the AllDeco punch and used the negative part as well.  I layered two of those motif’s together and turned one on point.  The geometics on the Graphic 45 was the inspiration for it all.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite – Autumn blessings Borders and Centers
Paper:  Graphic 45, Bazzill
Ink:  Color Box Pigment Ink – Sapphire Silk
Accessories:  Spellbinders Labels Ten, Spellbinders Classic Ovals, Clear Embossing Powder, Pearls, Ribbon, AllDeco Punch

Thanks so much for peeking in on me.  Tomorrow is an Our Daily Bread Blog Hop so I’ll see you then.

This is TOO funny. These are the ideas I left on your blog entry for the Just Rite stamps (see below).

I just saw one of the newest Just Rite stamp sets has a lighthouse, a sailboat, shells and a beach scene.

Did I call it or what????

Just Rite Ideas for Blog Candy (on your 3/18 blog entry)

    * Lighthouses always seem to be popular with a lot of people. You could do a nice set of lighthouses.

    * Shells and beach scenes are also a very popular theme

    * Or, you could do a combo of a beachy/tropical theme. You could have a set with a lighthouse, a sailboat, shells, palm trees, etc.ReplyCancel

This is gorgeous Becca, blue is one of my favorite colors and coupled with the kraft colored card-base is making my heart beat a little faster. It’s amazing to me how you line the punches up for this layered beauty. I need to practice that. Great composition Becca, the simple blessings are always the best aren’t they, they are right in front of us if one would only take a look. As always TFS!!! Becca. :-DReplyCancel
