Amazing Paper Grace

The ordinary and unexpected gift of stamping

Divine Design Challenge - Isaiah 40:31

Posted by Becca Feeken on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008

I’m so glad to have a card to post today.  I’m still participating in the Divine Design Challenge, and this is one of my very favorite scriptures.

I saved this stamp until I could think of a pretty way to display it.  Unlike many others in my stash, I have used this one many times, it is worn and stained, and I will use it many more times in the future.  Our stamp club this weekend worked with alcohol inks and my supplies were still out, so I used them on my backgrounds.  The picture doesn’t do it justice, the colors have such depth.  Here is a closer look:

Quite a few people on Splitcoaststampers particpate in the challenge.  The SCS Gallery for Bible Verse Challenge - BVC08 can be seen here.  Bless you today!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Wordsworth
Ink:  Black Brilliance
Paper:  Bazzill
Accessories:  Pearl Brads, Ranger Alcohol Inks

That background is gorgeous! One of these days I’ll have to splurge on getting some alcohol inks.

This is absolutely gorgeous! I’ve had my alcohol inks out as a reminder to use them soon, and look at this wonderful inspiration that I’ve found tonight! This is surely stunning IRL!

I forgot to leave my response yesterday but this is a pretty card. I am going to have to go to tim’s site and catch up on some techniques.
