My good friend asked if I would make her some Halloween things, so I cooked up a few items. I made acard following the sketch from A Sketch for You to Try, courtesy of the most talented Jen Del Muro at Iheart2stamp.

The card is watercolored using Tombow markers and uses the cutest K&Co Halloween paper. This was my first time watercoloring with markers – I loved it – I felt it gave me more control over the colors than when using reinkers, pencils or watercolor cakes. I followed this awesome tutorial by Leslie Miller at Running with Scissors, that makes it seem so easy! Thanks Leslie!!
The bag is called Purse in a Box! Do you remember the bag in a box that made it’s rounds a couple of months ago? Well, Andrea Walford revamped the bag to make it look like a purse. It is so stinkin’ cute. You can view her version as well as a full tutorial and downloadable template at her blog AndreaWalford.com
This one is made with K&Co papers and handles are fashioned from nesties cut into circles then folded into half.
Supplies:
Stamps: Angi-B (Now sold by Smarworks)
Paper: K&Co, Bazzill
Ink: Versamark with Black Embossing Powder and White Embossing Powder
Accessories: Brads
My goodness, I had this post ready to go but had a comical time with the final editing and resizing on the pictures. It’s normally something I can almost do with my eyes closed, but you would laugh to know how many times I sized, resized and ftped them to my site. After about the fifth time last night, I decided I was sleep deprived and went to bed. Happy September!!

Good evening, Becca. Love your project, today. Both card and bag. I have saved the instructions to do that bag too :). i don’t normally like halloween things but I really do like yours. I have several Tombow pens too. I bought them when I thought I would like to give stamping a try and they are now lying in my drawer. The more of your projects I see the more I’m convincing myself that I should try again – perhaps!!!!
Have a good day.

I quoted: “I am…a child of God,” … and you received a gift from God to make beautiful cards! I really love visiting your site. Do go and enjoy the Word from Deuteronomy 6:10-19. Let us use our talents and gifts only to glorify the Lord. Have a lovely day…
