It’s not autumn here yet but a girl can dream, right?  Am I the only one that sighs when I day dream about fall?  It’s seriously the most wonderful season and a wonderful prelude to winter.  Everybody else seems to be stamping autumn so I couldn’t stand back and be left out!   I am seriously patting my foot waiting for fall!  Okay, word association – fall festival, apple cider, hot chocolate, hay rides, bonfires, football games, leaves turning, snuggling in a blanket, nippy mornings, smores, pumpkin patch, homemade soup, blessings everywhere . . . are you there?

Here is another one of the new seasonal Cuttlebug Embossing folders.  Since I’m so partial to fall I can see using this many times.  I colored it with chalks – in both pattie form and pencil form and embellished with crystals.

Okay, I’m off to my stamp room to find more autumn stamps!  If I’m missing in action later on . . . don’t worry, I’m just off day dreaming.

Oh, yes! I’m there!! There is something all the more poignant about fall in America, though. (I’m in England.) Although, I noticed yesterday that the leaves on some of our trees are already turning, which strikes me as a little early.

Anyway, I loved your word association! That would make a great ‘Wordle’! Have you seen that yet?

Oh! And I love your Autumn card! :o)

Even though we don’t really have Fall here in South Texas (no changing of the leaves, etc) I still love it! I remember real seasons when I was a girl living on the Upper East Coast and seeing the leaves change colors and experiencing the wonders of Fall. Now we have to take a trip to see a difference in the weather and nature! Ah well, at least we don’t have to shovel the drive every morning before leaving for work or school! (Gotta find that silver lining even though it is 9am and already 97F!)

This card is GORGEOUS!!! I will be scraplifting it later today! I just got this CB folder yesterday and have to play! : )

I for some reason think that a card must have layers and layers and tons of coloring and whatnot! I never think to do the very simple. You can do both. And here I was thinking I was the last person around to love the fall! Everyone is always so forlorn to see the end of summer and they seem to forget the beauty of another season that is right around the corner! Anyway, just had to comment on how much I love your card – just beautiful! I really love your ribbon and fall brads – wherever did you find them? Thanks for sharing!ReplyCancel

WooHoo, a couple of my new embossing folders came in yesterday…they were ordered more than a month ago…grrrrr.   It was great to get to play with them, and again I resorted to the foil paper – this is a precious shade of light blue.  This card is a big one…I think I got carried away because with the snow dots you can do endless embossing, you just keep adding on to the start and it all meshes due to how they laid out the folder.

Supplies:
Stamps:  Stampendous – Angel, Printworks – Sentiment
Paper:  Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor, Foil Paper – Walmart
Ink – Black Brilliance
Accessories: Cuttlebug Snow Dots Embossing Folder, Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Nestabilities, Quickutz Swirl,  Martha Stewart Scallop Border Punch, Fiskars Border Punch, Snowflake Punch

I’ll hopefully have time today to play some more!!  Life is good!

    Hi Becca,
I love the Stampendous angel that you used on the Good Wishes and the new Cuttlebug Snow dots embossing folder. You posted this card on Tuesday, August 26, 2008. I have looked everywhere for this little angel. I even looked on the Stampendous site and also in a catalog that a scrapbooking store had of the Stampendous stamps to see if they could order it for me. No luck, so I am wondering if you can let me know if it was in a set or where I can find it. Thank you so much.ReplyCancel

Becca, I love the card that you used with the blue foil paper. I like working with the foil paper and the cuttlebug embossing folders. I went last night to WalMart to look for the light blue foil paper that you used on this card but was unable to find it. Do you know of any place else that might carry the light blue foil paper? I had the green, bright blue and red from years back and just recently ordered some more JoAnn’s Fabric. But I am looking for purple and the light blue. Any help that you give would be great.

    thanks

Wow! You ornery person, I was fooled and bummed! I saw that they already have some of your creations on their website gallery. I am so proud to be able to call you a friend, because of that honor and of course because of the wonderful person you are. Hugs. LReplyCancel
