Mercy, I had everything ready for this post but got tied up trying to get my IPhone 4 preordered!! On hold on the computer, on hold on the phone, we were at the store first thing this morning . . . what a mess!!! I finally got mine ordered through Best Buy (As other IPhone owners silently nod, right?!?). A year ago if you has asked me about an IPhone I’d have asked you what it was. Today, it’s permanently attached to my left hand. Imagine my horror when last week at the Dr. Office I discovered the whole AT&T Network in my area was out. All morning my kids and friends called to commiserate instead of taking a chill pill and reading a book, lol!! Sheesh, once they’ve got ya, they’ve got ya.
Okay so on to my card. Some of the delicate borders you get using Right Angle Punching technique are fabulous!! I tried out quite a few (saved them for future reference) and I came up with these two borders stacked. Because you use the Right Angle technique on the ends, they have finished ends which I love. My card is simple I layered gingham on a green mat then used the Martha Stewart Embroidered Floral corner punch and border to make the border – it barely peeks out so you see on the teensy tiny scallops, lol. I layered my stamped image (from American Art Stamps) on top and tied a bow diagonally. That left me room to stack up two of the right angle punched motifs made with the Martha Stewart Embroidered Floral Corner Punch and the Gothic Arches Floral Punch which I topped off with little white buttons. So, the video will show you how to make this one – it’s a little bit different from yesterday, but one you have the angles for this down, you’re ready to move on ;-)
Here’s the next video in the series!
Thanks for stopping by – see ya tomorrow!!
