Amazing Paper Grace

The ordinary and unexpected gift of stamping

Be Happy Butterfly

I don’t know why, but these colors remind me of a Dreamscicle.  This card is actually left over pieces I had laying on my table.  The half circles are leftovers of a Nestabilities frame I was cutting and I hung on to them.  After playing around with them a little bit, they reminded me of a butterfly.  I pulled out a silver photo turn and melted embossing powder on it and wrapped it with sparkly thread  and added a bling for the head.  The antenna are the stamen of a flower from my stash.

This was a quick and easy card, 4"x4" which is small for me.   If it works out, I have another one planned from my scrap pile.  All in all, an easy blogging day!  Wishing you much joy today!

Supplies:
Stamps:  Printworks - Small Tag Lines
Paper: Bazzill, Paper Adventures - Petite Pink Posies
Ink: Versamark, SU Cameo Coral
Accessories: Nestabilities, Photo Turn, Stamen, Embossing Powder

Too cute! Isn’t it great when those little bits of leftovers find new life in something so cute? Your butterfly is so sweet.
