You never, never know where you’ll find your inspiration. What was supposed to be a quick trip to the hardware store to match a color of paint turned into an hour or so of me up and down the paint aisle, mesmerized by color. I came across tons of paint chips – even cool ones with windows. Yeah, I’ve collected and played with them before, but I’m always on the look out for big ones with the writing on the side and when I see multicolored ones I often snag them for my palette folder.
I used this color chip and palette in the card below. Lucky for me the printing on the chip is easy to hide. The outcome was a quick card using a piece of art that I had colored some time ago – once I found a place for it on the card, everything else fell into place.

Next time you go to Home Depot go to the Disney paint and make a card from their paint chips. I know it will be wondrful.

Becca, this is beautiful as is all your work. I have also used paint chips on my cards. I read somewhere not long ago on another blog, that a plastic eraser will remove the writing on the paint chips, but it does leave it slightly scuffed.
