A JustRite Boo

by on July 30, 2009

I have a new card to share using JustRite’s newly released limited edition, Witch Way To the Treats.   This set uses the 1 3/16 " mount and has 10 centers and borders.   I found with this set that you can basically keep stacking shapes to make the medallion as large as you like.  If you are using it for a small tag – then one or two layers is nice.  If you are using it for a card, why not add many more concentric layers to bring the size up for a larger focal point?   Better yet, using both scales you can create the card then the matching tag with the sizing on this set.

I used the following layers to make my focal point, working from the top to the bottom:
1 " EK Success Punch (JustRite Center)
Spellbinders Standard Circles Large #2 (JustRite Border)
Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Large #1
Spellbinders Standard Circles Large #3
Spellbinders Pinking Circles Large #3

I’ve put a number on the end of each die template to identify which of the templates I used out of the set as shown below.  With my die templates nested, I count from the smaller center to the larger outside templates.

I tied two ribbons together tacking the first one on top of the other with a little bit of glue runner then tied a bow and added a couple of bling for a simple card.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite – Witch Way to the Treats
Paper:  My Minds Eye, Bazzill
Ink:  Versafine Black Onyx
Accessories:  Spellbinders Standard Circles Large, Spellbinders Scalloped Circles Large,  Spellbinders Pinking Circles Large, Ribbon, Paper Shapers Photo Corner Scallop, 1" EK Success Punch

More to come, soon!

You are truly the bow queen. Really a cute card and your being the guest designer of JustRite made me look at them for more purchases. I was going to comment on Patricia’s reply but this isn’t the place. You know who you are and what you do and why. You make the best cards I’ve seen and I’m a true fan.

Love the bling on a curve like that to accent the circles, and that layered ribbon treatment is SOOO eye catching!

Becca,

Great card! Too cute!

There are just too many cute stamps out there and not enough money and space to buy and store them.

Have fun at CHA!
