A Prize Winner and 2014 – A Year in Review

Note:
Skip to the end of my post to see the winner of my first New Years Blog Candy.  Remember there is still time to get in on my News Years Day Blog Candy HERE.

Sweet Blog friends, I frankly think I’m in shock that 2014 is over.  It seems like I spent most of the year preparing to get organized, making lists, lingering over plans and getting my ducks in a row, only to get to the end and figure out – here we go again.  Sometimes we get caught up in organizing instead of just savoring the sweetness of letting things happen and standing back to behold what’s been done.

It wasn’t until I surfed through the cards of the year that I began to remember working on them and thinking about who was to get some of the personal ones.  One of the things that resounds with me is keeping the ‘written word’ alive.   I hope that 2015 brings time to send and share, as cards and papercrafts bring so much joy to the recipient.  Handcrafting carries such respect and brings reverence to gifts that makes the labor so worthwhile. Thank you for sharing my crafty endeavors; if in any way I’ve given you a spark of inspiration, I’m thankful.

As with every year, I’m sharing projects that I especially enjoyed making.  I’ve reposted links to my New Years post back through the last many years. For the older work, it’s like looking at a picture of yourself when you’re a young, gangly teenager – I finally had to drop 2008 from my list :-)  Yikes, seven years!  Enjoy the look back.
