With Love - New Cuttlebug Border

Posted by Becca Feeken on Monday, July 28th, 2008

This is the last set of Cuttlebug borders that I have not shown, so I made an additional card so that you could see the With Love set.  It is made up of flowers, swirls and dots.  I lined up two of the borders vertically and ran them through my cuttlebug then repeated the first border again.  The card sentiment was stamped in two parts so that I could have text above and then below the embossed vellum With Love strip.  The stamped panel is then layered onto a piece onto Cucumber shimmery cardstock and embellished with pearl brads and ribbons.  Lastly a strip of cucumber cardstock was punched with a Martha Stewart Scallop punch and popped up over the main images and finished off with grosgrain ribbon.   The with love vellum sentiment is lightly chalked so that it will pop a little.

Thanks so much for stopping by.   Happy Stamping!

I’m loving the soft colors of the card and how you draw us all in with your design of the card. You, go girl.

I made a card for a friend last night using one of the embosing folders from Cuttlebug with inspiration that came from you, dear Becca.

Another beauty. I’m so tempted to buy more of these folders, but haven’t used the ones I own often enough . . . oh what problems. Where do you buy the watercolor paper? It makes your cards so pretty.
