When I Followed My Heart

I had a little bit of time to pull a card together for the 2 Sketches 4 You Challenge this week.  Guess who the sponsor is?  Yep, JustRite Stampers.  It’s an excellent sketch and the challenge runs until Saturday, January 30th.  I hope you’ll join in and submit a card.  Psst. . . . I heard the winner will be the envy of all because word is they’ll win the whole Botanicals stamps set with wood blocks.   Just sayin’!   Be sure to stop by the 2 Sketches 4 You site for all the rules.
I decided to make another valentines card; I love the punch of red and white.  From JustRite Stamps I pulled two newly released sets, JB09060 Decorative 2" Square Borders and JB-09720 Romantic Sentiments.  The sketch called for a squarish panel so I decided to use the AllDeco Punch again.  (Yikes, I got lots of emails about this last time and I have looked for the ordering information and am coming up empty handed.  Several have found references to AllDeco just by googling.)  On top of my punched out rounded square I used Spellbinders™ Classic Squares LG #4 and Spellbinders™ Classic Squares SM #4.   For the sentiment I used two EK Success punches, 1.5" and 1.25".   On the bottom of the card I used Spellbinders™ Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities Petite.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  JustRite – JB09060 Decorative 2" Square Borders, JB-09720 Romantic Sentiments
Paper:  The Paper Company
Ink:  Colorbox Pigment – Cranberry
Accessories:  Spellbinders Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities Petite, Spellbinders Classic Squares LG #4, Spellbinders Classic Squares SM #4, EK Success Papershapers 1 1/2" Punch, EK Success Papershapers 1 1/4" Punch, Clear Embossing Powder, AllDeco Elegant Spring Punch, Pearls, Buttons, Ribbon, Lace, Martha Stewart Heart and Heart Border Punch

On the inside I used a Martha Stewart Heart Punch and Martha Stewart Heart Border Punch.  The heart sits on top of a Spellbinders™ Classic Circles LG and Spellbinders™ Classic Circles SM.

Fun sketch, I hope you’ll try too.  Thanks so much for stopping by today!

As usual, absolutely gorgeous!! I found the AllDeco punch at craftownhobbylandUSA.com. I purchased a holder and one cartridge and received it without any problems, although I must confess I have not used it yet! Perhaps your wonderful creation will inspire me to get it out and create something with it!!ReplyCancel
