Want to see something that glimmers????  Here is a card I’m playing with and the techniques to make this card will be on my next Hochanda show.  I’m tickled to be presenting Glimmer on Hochanda on October 3rd – showtimes below.  My apologies friends, I didn’t have access to internet on September 29th, so I’m also popping up here today to publish the winners of the What Becca Wore Giveaway.  Even tho’ I couldn’t get to internet, there was no lack of inspiration here in the UK.   Hochanda showtimes for October 3 and 4 are listed below.  I have many tutorials that you will not want to miss along with a never before seen placement technique for foil plates.  No matter which machine you have, you’ll want to see this technique.  I hope you are along for the ride!

Here I have used Spellbinders Curvy Labels and Spellbinders Swirl Background from my Romancing the Swirl Collection to give a soft glimmery romantic look to a birthday card.  I did this using the new Spellbinders Glimmer Machine that foils like a dream.  I promise you, this is not hard to do and you’ll be able to add this sweet delicate glimmer to your creations too!!

In the meantime, here are the two winners, each picked from a pool of submissions who correctly guessed my attire on recent Hochanda shows.  First of all, thank you so much for the sweet words of encouragement and to those who watched.  Here are the winners and please remember there is another giveaway this week (details below):

Barbara Bruder – September 25th Show

Andrea Clinard – September 26th Show

October Giveaway – What Becca Wore

In the past, when I’ve gone onto TV, I try to come up with some totally fun giveaway to celebrate the occasion – so, I have a New Giveaway.  This is a bit ‘cheeky’ to coin a British phrase but the name of the giveaway is “What Becca Wore“.  Most people wouldn’t recognize me by face because most often, you see my hands on my Youtube Channel, Instagram, and even my blog.  Lol, many times when I’m answering your comments or chatting with Gracelets (those sweet people who visit Amazing Paper Grace) on Instagram, I’m comfy in yoga pants or jammies.

On October 3 & 4 I’ll be appearing on Hochanda to share some demos on some of my upcoming releases.  News flash!  You’ll get to see more than my hands!!

I’ll be giving away dies from A Charming Christmas Collection.  Open to all including international friends.  Eligible to win one die of your choice on each of four days by following directions below.

  1. Simply tune in to Hochanda on the dates listed above to have a look and notice the pattern and dominant color on the top I’m wearing.
  2. Then Do Not Leave A Comment (because comments are public)
  3. INSTEAD,  hit the contact tab in the upper right side of my blog.
  4. In the contact form type the heading “What Becca Wore” and for each day separately,  Describe the Pattern of my top and Give me the Dominant Color of my top – one entry for each day.

1 winner will be picked for each day of the show.  Winners will be shared on October 6 for the October Shows.

Then, once you sent off your email from my contact form, please leave me comment on the blog (without any color information) and let me know what else you’d like to see me demo on TV.  To be fair, for the time frame of the contest I’ll have to erase any comments giving color hints.

    Beautiful card Becca:)
I was crocheting and watching all your shows. Liked them all. Especially when you opened card holder. I was wondering what it is and also when you said that inside an oval sie there is a smaller oval which can be used to thread a ribbon. Looking forward to next shows.
    Congratulations to the winners:)

    Hi Becca

Just tuned into Hochanda and I am loving the way you explain things so clearly. (I have just left a comment for you).

Would you be able to demonstrate foiling on top of mirri card or a similar mirror card – if this is possible?
