Hi there blog friends!!  I’m tickled today to be participating in the September 2013 Release Blog Hop with Waltzingmouse Stamps.  There are quite a few new sets to see and you can click over to the Waltzingmouse Stamps site to see them in their entirety – until now just a peek or two was shown.   If you jumped in the middle of our list, the best way to make your way through the hop is to start at Claire’s Blog she has the complete sequence if you get out of order or if one of the links don’t work.   In order complete the hop, leave a comment on as many of the Design Team Members Blogs as you can as a random name is selected from each blog and then a final winner picked from those names. The winner gets a free set of their choice of Waltzingmouse stamps.  You have until September 22nd at 5:59 AM CST to leave your comment and then you can check on the Claire’s Blog on September 23rd after 6am CST to see if you are a winner.  Stay tuned, below I’ll tell you your next stop along the hop!!

Today I’m sharing a couple of card making ideas – for the first I pulled out the red and gold for a Christmas Card today while reaching for a couple of Spellbinders Nestabilities including Spellbinders Fancy Lattice, Spellbinders Nobel Rectangles, Spellbinders Labels Fourteen and Spellbinders Standard Circles LG.  Just a little bit of layering, and voila.

So to recap the layers I used from the bottom up, my card base is 5-1/2″ x 7-1/2″, foam tape, gold matting layer cut to 5″ x 7″, cream matting layer cut to 4-7/8″ x 6-7/8″, red layer cut using Nobel Rectangles backed with Fancy Lattice and trimmed to 4-3/4″ x 6-3/4″, foam tape, die cut layer using Classic Circles LG in gold, foam tape, die cut layer using Gold Labels Four in cream, foam tape, die cut layer using Labels Fourteen in red, die layer using small motif from Nobel Rectangles.   Attach ribbons, bow, pearls and sentiment on appropriate layer.

    Good morning Becca,
I love your top Christmas card withe red and white as it is stunning. The blue one, made me cold just looking at it. The marabou fluff and the beautiful sparkler that is in the lovely red ribbon is so lovely. With its grate work at the back of the topper just makes my little imagination go into overdrive. Your blue card is lovely with the silver mirri embossed background to the beautiful topper. I like the type of cards you make as they have my sense of order and style about them. Thank you for your sharing in your imagination, creativity and time with us.
