Today, Tomorrow and Always

Sweet Blog Friends, I’m wishing you happiness today!  Yes, believe it or not, I’m back with another card.  As you can see, I indulged in everything I love . . . pink, pearls, lace, silk and filigree.  That’s why we craft though, right?  Seriously this card is nothing like the inspiration I had or wandhat I originally started out with – absolutely every part of it has been changed out!!   Sometimes that happens – so today, I was of the mindset to just go with it :-)  After I decided to use the lace, I mimicked the shape along the bottom with Spellbinders™ Classic Edges Two and stamped the matching border using JustRite Papercrafts Classic Lace Edges Two.  Since I didn’t want to cover up the wide lace, I cut a medallion using JustRite Custom Nest Oval Medallion Label Dies and framed it out using Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals SM and stamped using the matching stamp from the Botanical Medallions and Banners set.  The sentiment fits perfectly on my two layers using Spellbinders™ Fancy Tags Two.  I finished off by adding an embellishing swirl with Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and Accents.

SUPPLIES I USED
StampsJustRite Papercrafts – Classic Lace Edges TwoBotanical Medallions and Banners
Paper: My Minds Eye, Neenah Classic Crest Cream, Coredinations
Ink: Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders™ Classic Edges Two, Spellbinders™ Classic Ovals SM Botanical Medallions and Banners, Spellbinders™ Fancy Tags Two, Spellbinders™ Twisted Metal Tags and Accents, Silk Ribbon, Recollections Pearls, Pearl Pic, Lace

Today I’ve added a button on my sidebar for a subscription to my YouTube videos.  Not all videos are published here so be sure to subscribe to be notified of all new videos as soon as they are uploaded :-)  In the meantime, thank you for letting me indulge with all the pink and frills – I’ll be back tomorrow morning with some new stamps to show.  In the meantime, I want to hug you for stopping by today!!

Becca, I’ve been following you for a couple of months now. I just have to tell you that you have the “most beautiful” cards I’ve ever seen. I made my first card in January of this year so I’m still pretty new. I hope that someday I could even come close to making beautiful cards like you. You totally rock!ReplyCancel

I just love to see your cards. They are so beautiful. I have not been able to do the stamping I would like in the last year as I have been battling cancer and it looks like I will have to start another round. I put my faith in the lord to cure me. Thanks again for your beautiful cards.ReplyCancel

    Becca,
So very pretty! Been kind of busy with work and trying to squeeze in gardenting after work, and haven’t been commenting like I should because I always look when I get a Feedburner notice and each and everyone of your creations surely deserves a comment, so here I am trying to make up for not commenting on each one. Your work and videos always inspire and somehow also take me to a place of good feelings and thoughts. Thank-you so much!
