Thoughtful You!

Good morning to you!!  I was up early and had need of a thank you card for someone and I came up with this glittery, ruffly, lacey pink card.  I sure can’t deny pink – I love it!!  I paired it with that black border that I love, but so rarely do.  I’m using one of the new May releases from JustRite Stampers called Sending You Sunshine.  Lots of mileage out of that one with the different sentiments and the cute flowers :-)

Even though I have a rectangle base for the card, I incorporated Spellbinders Grand Labels One – a trimmed it by about half and bordered one edge with Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Border Petites.  I cut two 12″ strips of paper that were 1″ wide and scored them each at every 1/8″ interval and accordian folded them.  After connecting them and cinching them in and securing with glue I topped them with Spellbinders Heart Circles and Spellbinders Standard Circles SM .  The Want2Scrap Nestabling – Heart Circles fit perfectly on the panel with my sentiment.  I also took one of the larger circles from the same package, cut it in half and echoed it on the right side of the card.  That’s about it!

SUPPLIES I USED

Stamps: JustRite Stampers – Sending you Sunshine
Paper: My Minds Eye, Bazzill
Ink: Victorian Velvet Distress Ink
Accessories: Spellbinders Grand Labels One, Spellbinders Standard Circles SM, Spellbinders Heart Circles, Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Border Petites
, Want2Scrap Nestabling – Heart Circles

Take it easy on yourself this weekend.  You deserve a break!  Be good.
