The Love We Give

Greeting blog friends!  I hope your week has been a sweet one!  Today is finding me a little bit under the weather, but no worries.  I’m never down for very long.  Hope you don’t mind if I make this brief.  I do have a card share, something that was in stages of completion that only took me minutes to polish off.  I’m using a sweet sentiment from Quietfire Design called The Love We Give Away – until I used it I didn’t realize how very many occasions it can be used for.  When the time comes to use this particular card, I’ll have another stamped sentiment for the inside that will hone in on the particular occasion while using the outside quote as a lead in line.

I used Spellbinders Creative Book Pages for a header that yields a different look.  This embossing folder practically begs for pearls or gems at each cross point.  Well, I faithfully obliged :-)

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Quietfire Design – The Love We Give
Paper: Coredinations Pearl, The Paper Company, Bazzill
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Accessories: Spellbinders Creative Book Pages,
Sizzix Thank You Set #5 Embossing Folder, Recollections Pearls, Ribbon,

You are always sweet.  Thanks for stopping by to see me!

Oh Becca, This one is one of my favorites of yours. Sooooo elegant and the pearls, just the icing on the card, I mean cake. I love the medallion (can you tell me who makes this piece?) It almost has an elegant, moroccan feel to it. Just stunning . Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Your card is beautiful! That EF is tops on my want list at the moment. Yes it does beg for pearls but it seems you heard it whisper the need to that unusual header and beautiful medallion as well.

Gorgeous card. I had looked at that embossing folder now I have to put it on my wish list.
Becca you need to take better care of youself. You are running yourself ragged. Your loyal fans will not vanish if you only post a couple of cards a week. We love your creations, but not at the expense of your well being.
Maybe you need to “schedule” a “Becca’s day off” every week and just relax . Hope you feel better soonReplyCancel

Beautiful card Becca, but I don’t see the harlequin pattern on the link you gave that you said begs for pearls at the cross points. It takes me to the die that you used at the top of your card that is solid pink. Can you please tell me where to find the diamond pattern embossing folder? Thanks much.

Becca I can not find the words to tell you how much I enjoy your blog. When I open my email I look forward to seeing what beautiful project you have made. I work full time, taking on-line classes and lead a very busy life so I do not get very much time to actually do my card making often. When I have the time I love to look back at your beautiful projects, look at your tutorials and practice the things you teach. Please keep doing what you do, you are an inspiration and a blessing to so many.ReplyCancel
