Sunlight to My Heart

by on July 30, 2010

Hi folks, I’m back home now, ahhhhhh!!   Great trip, great time, great company :-)  I had this card in my stash that I haven’t shared so I thought I would share it now.  It features a great sentiment stamp from Quietfire Design called You are Sunlight to My Heart.    It seemed a shame to try and cover this Cappella  paper by Basic Grey, so I didn’t.  Instead I kept it simple and added some Prima bling and a sheer ribbon.

I’ve finally been able to get back to my craft room and look forward to getting back in the swing of things.  I’ll be back tomorrow with another card.  Thanks so much to the regulars who have been hanging out.  You know I really appreciate it.

Hugs,
Becca

Hi Hon

You always come up trumps with your cards. Simple but delightful.

What is CHA? Being a Brit I have no idea.

Gorgeous card Becca, I agree it would be a shame to hide that beautiful paper. I think you embellished the card just right so the paper could shine thru. I love that sentiment. As always Becca, TFS!!! I just wanted to add that it is a pleasure to come here daily, I’m guaranteed a smile and always lots of goodness for the soul. :-D

Sounds like you had a fantastic trip, Becca, but I don’t know which is more amazing….the beautiful cards you have been showing us OR the fact that you had them already made and didn’t show them before since they have alllll been beautiful!
Thanks for sharing! :o)

This is so beautiful! And, I agree, it would have been a shame to cover up the Basic Grey Capella paper. Love just adding the bling.

Hi Becca,
Happy to hear you had such a good time at CHA. I am sure it must boggle the mind to see everything there!
It is my pleasure to come here each day and see your beautiful work – I wouldn’t miss it :o)
Love this very pretty card. With such lovely paper I can understand not wanting to cover it up. Love the bling though – makes it so elegant, and as always your ribbon is divine.
I haven’t been leaving messages the past month – as I have been away looking after my mother. But I have never missed looking. I am back home now and hope to stay here for a awhile :o)

What a beautiful card! (As always). Glad to hear that you are back home safe and sound and back in your craft room. I saw some of the other comments asking about what you saw and bought at CHA. Can you elaborate on that for your next post? :) (For those of us that don’t get out much…) :)

Becca, Becca, no one deserves more to go to CHA than you. I attend the winter show each year, so I feel your joy and over whelming experience. I use to go to the summer one as well but decided I better stay on my side of the equation.
Thank you Thank you and our Lord Jesus Christ for your talent and desire to excel in your craft.
I do hope I will get the pleasure of meeting you at one of the winter shows.
I do pray your husband is doing better each day.

Love, love your designs.

Blessings,
