Star Ballerina

I’ve got a secret, I’ve got a secret.  Psst…remember when I used this stamp last year?  Well, I did.   I pulled it out of my stash and people came out of the woodwork wondering where to get it.  Hanging my head, I had to admit that the stamp was retired.  Well, no more!!  Penny Black brought this stamp back out of retirement so if you were one of the ones desperate to get it – you can get it HERE.  This is seriously one of my most prized stamps and I am a Penny Blackaholic.  I’ve collected these sweet little girls for years and am so psyched that  many of them are coming out of retirement.  Woohoo!  You can go see this and many of the new cling mounted stamps that have been reintroduced at Stamper’s Dream.  Michelle just got a huge shipment of them in yesterday!

This one is called Star Ballerina and I colored her up with Copic Markers.  I don’t think there could be a more perfect background to go with this sweet little angel than the Impression-Obsession Gingham Background block.

Here are the Copics that I used today:

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Stamper’s Dream (Penny Black) – Star Ballerina, Stamper’s Dream (Impression-Obsession) – Gingham Background
Paper:  Prism Simply Smooth, Bazzill
Ink:  Pink Dye Based Ink
Accessories:  Ribbon, Prima Flower, Buttons

You still have some time to enter for the current blog candy – I’ll be picking a winner tonight.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Becca – this is absolutely precious….I, too, love Penny Black and remember when they were “small” and used to attend the Rubberstamp Conventions in CA, what fun that was – lots of show and tell’s and just a good time hanging out watching them. You could say I have a “few” of their stamps lol….ReplyCancel

I just have to share….my 17 year old daughter has reached for the stars, and caught them! She was studying at a world acclaimed school for ballet in NYC, and was recently invited into the company as a new apprentice! Sadly, I cannot buy this stamp, which I tried to do through your link, Becca. They were sold out in a few hours, after your post! Do you know of any other way to find this stamp before they are again, gone forever?? It was just perfect for a card for my daughter, as…you will not believe this…she also have a collection of bunnies that her Godmother began when she was born!ReplyCancel
