Seasons Greetings – Festive Flourishes Friday Challenge

This week for Flourishes Friday we’re making it Festive Flourishes Friday and
you can join us in the fun! It’s all about the colors of Christmas-red and
green! So, grab your favorite Flourishes set and let your creativity flow!
That’s the only requirement! You don’t even have to make it a Christmas card.
If you want to play along, simply leave a comment HERE (on the Flourishes
blog) or upload your card to Splitcoast using the keyword FFFC01. Keep in
mind, we’ll be doing this fun Friday challenge all month long and there will
be a special drawing for those that play all four weeks!

I chose red to be the dominant color here and kept things clean and simple by stamping with vivid dye ink.  To create just a little bit of interest, I popped the sentiment and one of the birds up on a Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Oval Large and a Spellbinders Classic Oval Large.  The birds are sitting on an element from the Flourishes Flourished Elements Set, the beautiful birds are from the Flourishes Birds and Vine Set and the beautiful script sentiment is from the Flourishes Holiday Greetings set.  Both bottom edges are Martha Stewart Border punches.

Recipe:
Stamps:  Flourishes – Flourished Elements, Birds and Vine, Holiday Greetings
Paper:  The Paper Company Red, 140lb Watercolor, GP White
Ink:  SU – Real Red, SU – Garden Green
Accessories:  Spellbinders Petite Scalloped Oval Large, Spellbinders Classic Oval Large, Ribbon, bling, Martha Stewart Border Punches

Have yourself a glorious weekend!

Beautiful card, Becca! I’m wondering if you ever have a problem with the Martha Stewart punch?…I’ve bought 2 of them and the doily punch will not punch through regular cardstock…I can only use thinner paper!! Thx, SusanReplyCancel

FYI: I’m taking your advice on ribbon storage and am starting tonight with your system. DH just cut the mat board for me, so I’m all set to sit in front of the TV in my jammies and wrap ribbon! Thanks so much for the detailed info on doing this! Oh also, please stop by my blog for blog candy!ReplyCancel
