Psst . . . You’ll Want to Know About This Opportunity

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using New Spellbinders - A Gilded Life Belgian Lace
Good morning my sweet crafty friends!  There’s an opportunity out there that you need to know about . . . the only thing that is missing is you :-)  Have I piqued your curiosity? Well, let me tell you that last year I packed my bags and headed to Pasadena, California for 4 days of pampering at a luxurious hotel and 4 days of back to back artsy classes.  I made so many friends, ate heavenly food, took in the sights and we all received so many gifts that I had to send them home – too many to carry!  My children knew it was an event I dreamed of attending so they paid my way :-)

2014-05-28
What I’m talking about is Spellbound 3!
It’s an elegant vintage craft retreat hosted by Shea Fragoso and Debbie Murray of A Gilded Life.  Shea and Debbie debuted a new line of dies and jewelry findings this year with Spellbinders (a major sponsor of the event).

Where do you fit in?
You have a chance to win a trip, registration and accommodations to Spellbound 3 this November and you get to bring a companion!!!  Get yourself over to this link for ——> the “Official Rules”!   You all make fabulous projects –  this is a chance for you to strut your stuff like I know you can; it’s really your opportunity to shine.   I’m encouraging you to step out and I’d love to see one of my sweet blog friends win this!!

Magic in the Air
The card that I’m showing above is one I created with dies from A Gilded Life – this one is Belgian Lace.  I can hardly believe that almost a year has gone by since my adventure at Spellbound last year – the one take away I had was the feeling of magic and awe that danced in the air – it was so present you could reach up and swirl it.  Wide eyes coupled with oohs and aahs began on day one and were still there on the last day – akin to the wonder a little kid experiences on Christmas (except we were all grown folks, lol).   So who goes to an event like that? I was amazed, it was full of women and some men that simply have crafty souls . . .  they were people just like you and me.  Some of them had never done crafts, some had crafted all their lives, some were moms that wanted to pamper themselves, some were friends who just wanted to get away together; all skill levels, all walks of life, all parts of the country – all that’s missing is you :-)

Could you possibly dream this?  Might you try?  Pop over to the Spellbinders Blog and leave a comment on the post – lets start a flood of encouragement!  By the way I found a wonderful prayer that I pinned to my pinterest board yesterday – you can see it HERE – it’s my prayer for you today :-)

P.S.  Do you have questions?  Be sure you email them to ContestQuestions@spellbinders.us.

Oh yeah I have seen this contest, but as the prize is only within the US states, it would be way too expensive to have to fly all the way from here over there, no matter how much I would have loved to get there. It sure would be a dream come true, but not doable on healtretirement pay, that´s for sure, but I cross my fingers, for those who can, that´s for sure.
So I´ll do with enjoying your gorgeous work here on the blog instead and that is also always a biiig pleasure, that´s for sure. I love your work, and this one is totally amazing Becca. Soooo gorgeous and elegant with the gold and cream colors. I absolutely LOVE it.
Have a wonderful week-end ahead and I hope, you´ll have a fantastic time at the fair in November. I would really have loved to meet you in person, that´s for sure.ReplyCancel

    Good morning Becca,
Your card, and the competition prize takes my breath away. BUT like Maryann this excludes us in the UK, especially on a small pension, but I wish everyone who enters good luck – and I’m not jealous, promise!!!
I think the break away has been especially good for you.
My prayer for you is “May God protect and guard you – and your family – and may His blessing shine upon you” xxReplyCancel

Popped over to read the prayer too. Lovely and very thought provoking.

What a beautiful card!! I have that die and haven’t done much with it (any sort of lace is difficult for me to resist…) This gives me a great idea on how to use this die at the next level. Thank you!
Thank you for the lovely prayer, also. What beautiful, rich words. You are a very special lady and I thank God for YOU!!!ReplyCancel

Gorgeous card Becca, and I would so love to be able to go. I just love spellbinders and I think I own almost all of them. I just need to get busy and use them more, finding time is hard. I figured at my age everything would slow down, but my life just gets busier and busier. I may just try this. TFS

    Hugs,
