Psalm 23

I’m back to share one of the fabulous new sets from Our Daily Bread Designs – Psalm 23.   I selected the current Sketch Challenge 201 on SCS specifically because I thought this stamp would serve as a wonderful focal point.  The stamped image is framed with a hand embossed flourish and piercing following the pattern from an Ornare Template – these are also in stock at Our Daily Bread Designs. On the card I used two patterned design papers and one solid linen; these were all muted by smudging with SU Close to Cocoa ink and finished off by a ribbon and glue on brads.

Oh wow Becca, this is stunning. I love the colors and the layering. It is just beautiful! Which Ornare Piercing Template did you use? It looks like it is a must have item. Great job on this card!

This card is just stunningly beautiful. You said all the layers were “muted by smudging” with ink. Does this mean that you sponged the ink onto the card? It looks so subtle in the picture that I wondered how it was done. I’m sorry if you’ve answered this somewhere in here a while ago. I’m new here. Thanks.

Beautiful!! I, too, would like to know which Ornare template you used. Did you have a template for the hand-embossed flourish or did you do it by hand? I love your stunning designs!ReplyCancel
