Our Prayers

Hi there friends, I wanted to share a card I made earlier this month.  This is a pretty fall paper from NRN that I got out of my stash and I’ve had it cut and ready for something for several weeks.  I just couldn’t seem to pair it up with anything that didn’t cover the pretty leaves, print and pears.  This will seem very simple to you — it is — but that’s what I had to do to let that beautiful paper shine through.  I’m using a beautiful new verse from Our Daily Bread Designs from the Full of Grace Collection called Pray.

The metal frame is by Making Memories and was the perfect size for the sentiment.  I finished up with a short length of pleated ribbon and some brown rayon ribbon.   This sentiment could not have come at a more appropriate time, more than anything I find it an absolute comfort.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Full of Grace Collection:  Pray
Paper:  NRN, Bazzill
Ink:  Versafine Vintage Sepia
Accessories:  May Arts Pleated Ribbon, Making Memories Metal Frame, Martha Stewart Rayon Ribbon, The Paper Studio Brad

Thanks for peeking in on me :-)

Love the card Becca and I’ll have to say that I was afraid to open your blog due to the subject line. I think about you and your husband often and know that God is watching over you. Wishing you both the power and strength to endure all obstacles that you are faced with. I’ve never met you but feel like we have been good friends for a long time. I will continue to pray for you and your husband.

Becca: Such a beautiful card. Love the Fall Colors. You have such an eye for bringing it all together. Praying for you and Hubby daily.

    Remember:
(Romans 8:26) One of the most encouraging and comforting aspects of the Holy Spirit is His ministry of intercession on behalf of those He inhabits. Because we often don’t know what or how to pray when we approach God, the Spirit intercedes and prays for us. He interprets our “groanings,” so that when we are oppressed and overwhelmed by trials and the cares of life, He comes alongside to lend assistance as He sustains us before the throne of grace.ReplyCancel
