Our Daily Bread Designs October Release Blog Hop

Hey there blog friends!!  So glad to be able to welcome you to the Our Daily Bread Designs October Release Blog Hop!    Now, if you got here from Grace Nywening‘s  fabulous blog, you are in the right place!   If not, you might want to start at the Our Daily Bread Designs Blog and hop from there!   If you encounter any broken links – the entire hop list is posted on the ODBD Blog :-)  If you were surfing in blog land this past week you may have seen a couple of sneak peeks of these great sets.  There’s lots to see so I hope you’re able to join us.  If you’re ready for Christmas crafts, then it’s your lucky day!  You can see all of the new releases HERE.

For my card today I decided to go with the traditional Christmas look that I love so well and I’m using a new background stamp from Our Daily Bread Designs called Christmas Tree Collage.   Instead of red I picked out a deep burgundy and also kraft paper and used cream embossing powder. I went kind of heavy with the distress ink. :-)   I framed the tree background using Spellbinders™ Postage Stamps and cut the center out using Spellbinders™ Classic Squares LG.  One must have lace, right?  I spiced up the lace a little bit by adding a border from Spellbinders™ Classic Petal Edgeabilities.

SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps: Our Daily Bread DesignsChristmas Tree Collage
Paper: My Minds Eye, Bazzill, The Paper Company
Ink: Vintage Photo Distress Ink, Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, Versamark, Memento Cocoa
Accessories: Spellbinders™ Postage Stamps, Spellbinders™ Classic Squares LG. Spellbinders™ Classic Petal Edgeabilities, Pearls, Pearl Pick, Ribbon, Prima Lace, Buttons

Hop Particulars:
The Hop will run from 8:00 am Eastern Time on October 1st until 8:00 pm Eastern Time on October 2nd. The winners will be announced on the ODBD Blog on October 3rd.
