Organization Page Added

Just a reminder, there are still a number of days to register for my current blog candy.  If you want to throw your hat in for the prize, make sure you leave a comment THIS post!

Hello there!!  I’ve added an “Organization” tab to the top of my blog.  It was driving me crazy that when people would email me and ask me for a link to something like my Ribbon Storage solution – that I couldn’t find it!!  It dawned on me that if I couldn’t find it, readers probably could not find it either!!  So this is a photo index with links to all my Storage and Organization related Becca Bits with How to’s on how I keep track of and store my supplies.  You can see the page HERE.  Enjoy!!

    Becca,
Not only are you an inspiration in card making, now in organization to. This idea is wonderful. I don’t have near the dies that you do but my stash is getting bigger.
Thank you for the great tip.ReplyCancel

Becca these are great organizing ideas! Staying organized is key to being able to create many things in a timely fashion–not to mention saving money! I’ve started a notebook with samples of my ribbons, inks, punches and stamps and I refer to it constantly. I only wish I had a Container Store near me for storage containers. Thanks for the organizing tips.ReplyCancel

Awesome storage solutions. Thanks. I would like to make a suggestion to all the stamping Divas out there…we have a lot of money invested in this craft; please be sure you are insured against theft and God, forbid, fire. We may need a “rider” on our insurance policy and renters need “renters’ insurance. People need to contact their agents, Just a thought. Where better to spread the word than here, Becca.
    Peace. Becky JohnsonReplyCancel

Becca, How do you store you Copic markers? I bought some cases but don’t really like them. I saw how Jennifer McGuire stores them and that might work but I am running out of space in my workroom.ReplyCancel

I try hard to be organized but it is difficult. Because of the economy (my daughter got laid off) we now have my Hubby, me, our daughter and 2 1/2 year old granddaughter living in our 2 bedroom home, so I love any organization tips. Thanks for the ideas.ReplyCancel

The colorcoding is a great idea! I had my spellbinders in cd cases but have recently moved them to a small binder in small sized page protectors. If only I had seen this idea first! I, too, would end up with cd cases everywhere and could not find the die I was looking for. The binder seems to work ok for now…but the collection is growing with every new beautiful card you put on your blog!ReplyCancel

What amazing ideas for craft storage, Becca. I waste so much time because I can’t find the right thing at the right time… and out of sight is often out of mind…. I’ve got to work on my ribbon and Spellbinders storage. Thanks SO much for sharing this.

Girl, I’ve learned so much from you! Please take good care of your knee. We want you to be better. I have a feeling, you have a hard time being down though. You get restless to get things done. Right? I also would like to know how you store those punches and wood mounted stamps. I would be grateful for ideas for them. They seem to be taking over my work space. Blessings!ReplyCancel

Wow, I love it that you now have a place to look up organization! I need a little fairy to come help me get organized. I work at it all the time…staying organized it the hardest problem. I am so bad about getting busy and working for a few days straight, then everything is a mess!! I feel like I have to start all over. It takes too much time away with my fleeting bursts of being creative to organize as I go. I pull things out from everywhere and it looks like a bomb went off in my room. How do you stay organized while you are working????

    Thanks,
    Gayle Taylor

    Hi Becca,
I just love all of your cards. You are so creative and I can’t say there is anything I don’t like that you post, you inspire me.
I love your oganizational tips and the first one I’m going to implement is organizing my ribbon. Right now, I have them rolled up in little zip lock bags and I have to dump all of them to see which one I would like to use. Your idea is much better, so keep them coming.
    Thanks and God Bless!
