No More Sorrow

I’m sharing a card using one of the October releases from Our Daily Bread Designs; this one is from a set called Praying for You.

I picked this sentiment from the set because I find the verse so comforting.  It is mounted on Spellbinders Labels Eight and framed with Spellbinders Flourish Accents.  The scalloped border is cut from Spellbinders Fancy Scallop Butterfly Pierceability.

Each panel is distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  The same color was used to stencil on each of the Flourish accents.  Pretty simple!

Much going on in my world today, in the mean time  I hope you have fabulous plans and a glorious day, friends!!

OMGoodness!! Your card is amazingly beautiful. I had to write to tell you that my MIL had been very ill and in a hospice care facility for the past week – we had been there day and night with her. Sadly, she passed away on Tuesday morning. The quote from your card is from one of the readings the Pastor used at the hospice center and is so wonderful to hear at times like this. I was so touched that you would choose this for your card! You’re a very talented lady – thank you!! (You’ve definitely sold me on this stamp set!)ReplyCancel

Thank you for this beautiful card – it made me feel good just reading it! Unfortunately I could have used a few of these cards recently as my nephew suddenly passed away and his Dad and sister are devastated. I need these stamps and stock up on personal sympathy cards so I can send something from my heart! Thank you for your gorgeous ideas.ReplyCancel

I love this verse Becca. Before my Mother passed away I used to talk to her about the streets of gold that she would walk on and at her funeral I read this scripture. It is such a comforting verse. I love it. Thank you for sharing your lovely craft. The card is so beautiful. I love how you have used the floral accents and how you have done the patterned panels at the back of the verse.

I just love your cards, Becca! I just bought some beautiful wide satin ribbon today because you’ve completely “sold” me with your gorgeous bows! I love how you can make such an elegant card and only use sentiment stamps – no images required. Thanks for freely sharing your talent with us!ReplyCancel

    Becca,

Everytime I see this scripture, it makes me think of the movie “Titanic”. The scene where the priest is reciting it as the ship is sinking and everyone is scrambling to hold on. So sad.

However, it is an awesome verse for sympathy cards, and this one is absolutely beautiful as usual. Love the spelbinder’s accents, around the verse, they really give it a great finishing touch.

    Hugs,

    Lisa AthaReplyCancel
