I Will Sing

You still have until Friday night at Midnight to enter for the blog candy.  Read about the rules and enter HERE.

OMGosh, TGIF!  I have a quick card to share using a sentiment from this months Our Daily Bread Designs release – You Will Find Refuge.    I was playing around with Spellbinders™ Classic Lace Border Grand and came up with these flowers.  After I had them made I figured out I better do something with them so I simply lined them down the card then added the sentiment.  For the sentiment I stamped on Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM, cut in half, then added Spellbinders™ Petite Scalloped Circles LG, cut in half.

The center buttons on the flower were made with the I-Topper.  They make a button roughly 7/8" in diameter which seemed to be the perfect diameter for wrapping the border around.  Okay, you caught me on my "experimental" day.  I’ll be back tomorrow with another card.

Card Recipe
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – You Will Find Refuge
Paper:  The Paper Company,  K&Co.
Ink:  Ancient Page – Chocolate
Accessories:  Spellbinders™ Classic Lace Border Grand, Spellbinders™ Standard Circles SM, Spellbinders™ Petite Scalloped Circles LG, I-Topper Brads, Brads Ribbon

Be blessed my friends!

Upon close examination I can see where you’ve sliced each petal from the other so you can curve it, but if it’s much more involved than that you are planning to make a tutorial, aren’t you? I marvel at the talent you have for using things in more than one way, and thank you for sharing it with us.ReplyCancel

    Oh Becca,
You are so wonderful and talented. Graced by God for sure!!
I love your flower….I wonder if you didn’t cut it. Otherwise it would be hard to get it to bend and stand like this? Did you score it at all round and then fold it in a bit to shape it, then bend the ends?
I hope you are going to show us all how you made it. For once I actually have the Spellbinder Lace Border that you have used and would love to know how to do it properly.
    Hugs and many thanks, CandyReplyCancel
