Savannah, Georgia is a very quaint place to visit. If you enjoy southern charm and atmosphere, Savannah's your place. I visited there the week they finished filming "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". We managed to get a copy of the book, "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and got it autographed by Director of the movie, Clint Eastwood!

I saw on one of the replies that a person wanted to go to Estes Park, Colorad. I will be attending a family reunion there in June and so I guess that is the place I would like to go see at the moment.

I sometimes think that there is something very special about any place you may visit. It just takes a bit of exploration.

Death Valley, California is another such place. My favorite time is in December/January. Nights in the campground are amazing. The temperature is warm. The night sky is so clear that the stars look like glitter on dark velvet. Because there isn't light, the stars are so very visible. It's a perfect place to walk, bike, or just climb smaller hills. If you're there during one of the meteor showers, you will not be disappointed with all the falling stars you can see.

There is a special beauty in this desolate area. There are canyons prolific with color. Then, there are areas that are so plain.

It's another spot that you wouldn't want to miss - visit just once!
