Footprints on our Hearts

Greetings blog friends!  I have an all purpose, feel good, friend card to share with one of my favorite sentiments.   Actually, now that I think about it, it’ll probably be a great card for my sweet girl or would work well for an anniversary.  I glammed it up a little bit but there’s no doubt it’s girly.  I used Some People Come Into Our Lives from Quietfire Design – truly a staple in my stamp stash!  How many times have you bought this sentiment on a store bought card?  Since it’s one I do at least once a year, it lives here now :-)

I created a cross piece vertically and horizontally using Spellbinders™ Classic Petal Edgeabilities and Spellbinders™ Decorative Insert Six Edgeabilities.   I layered my sentiment on Spellbinders™ Labels Twenty Five and backed it with Spellbinders™ Damask Motifs.   I tied a bow with some tulle and skinny satin ribbon and layered on some mulberry roses and a crystal button.  The neatest thing about the sentiment is that it is actually two stamps – the second is a companion stamp and is designed for the inside.  So, on the inside bottom, I stamped the small inside sentiment.  I rarely do the inside of cards, but this pair makes it a no-brainer!

Truly a beautiful card just like the lady who created it!! The underlayment paper is just the right touch. One thing I have been meaning to ask is: Is there anyway in your supplies used (which I love) could you put the size of the card? Things don’t always come out right if you don’t know the correct size and have to squeeze where you shouldn’t have. LOL
Hoping that 2013 will be even more successful for you than 2012.
    Hugs,
    Mstgane

I have that same verse on a poster that I hang in my craft room. I lost my sister 3 years ago, she was 71. I miss her every day, every hour. I know she’s with me all the time. I look for signs, which may sound dumb. But she does send them to me. She has left permanent footprints in my heart. I know you understand, Becca. Have a blessed New Year.ReplyCancel

And most of all your pleasing persona makes me all the more admire you. I hope the blessings of the Lord be with you in the coming year. Take care.ReplyCancel
