Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Congrats Vintage Labels Three and Seven and Spellbinders
Good morning blog friends!  I have another card to share with a sweet sentiment – that’s wonderful for an anytime, inspirational card.  It’s so enjoyable making this kind of card because there will always be an occasion to send it.  So yes quite often, I make cards ahead of time and run right to my stash to find what fits the occasion.  Sometimes that doesn’t work, the situation is more personal and needs that extra special touch :-)  The sentiment I picked today is from JustRite Papercrafts Congrats Vintage Labels Three and Seven along with the ornate background which is made from JustRite Papercrafts Ornate Corners.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using JustRite Congrats Vintage Labels Three and Seven (close up)

I started out with a 6″ x 6″ card base and on the bottom layer I stamped the Ornate corners.  On the next layer up I glued two corners from Spellbinders Corner Flourish Two to the round motif piece from Spellbinders 5×7 Mystical Embrace to make the entire layer.  On top of that I placed Spellbinders Majestic Circles.  Finally the corners are embellished with Spellbinders Moroccan Accents.

Hi Becca. I have actually read your blog before the lovely Sue Wilson’s today.
It is actually due to her telling us about your blog at a demo day she did last year in Preston. I have also been lucky enough to meet the talented Ken Oliver too, so I’m working my way round.
You make such beautiful cards. Thank you for sharing.

    G.M. Becca,
Happy Monday!! Love the brown tones and the words are so appropriate for some needed inspiration. Love the way you “married” your dies. I am taking a 2 hr. class at the show in Orlando this weekend on the use of intermingling dies. Hope it helps me!! Are you going?

Thank you.Todays card is yet another beauty. Take care.ReplyCancel

  • Bernie K.April 28, 2014 - 6:37 pm

Okay, my Sister. You started me on Spellbinders so I am going to you with this question. Any suggestions when there is hardly an imprint and almost impossible to punch out the designs? They seem to be getting more intricate and some days I have ideas that just end up in the trash.
Any help, Becca, would sure be appreciated.

God Bless those talented hands, and the rest of you too!

    Good morning Becca,
What a beautiful card you have made for us yet again. The colours are beautiful together with the white being a natural white and not a brilliant one. I really look forward to seeing your cards that you make to inspire us as like Sue, you are so very talented and your eye for detail is perfect. I came in after your very sad happenings but i hope that doesn’t stop being able to send you cyber hugs to hold you strong and love to keep in your heart when you are down.
Take care dear lady and as long as you keep your loved one in your heart and mind they will never be far from your side,
    Love and crafty hugs
