Wonder Why I Was Being Quiet?

You were wondering why I was being so quiet? I have a sweet little announcement to share! Last month the owner of Our Daily Bread Designs asked me if I would be interested in being their Guest Designer for a month!! Well, it took me two days to respond because I just couldn’t believe that she really asked me. I have been a fan of their stamps for some time — she has the most elegant Christian themed stamps and a rich selection of scripture stamps to choose from. Oh…I said yes, of course!!
For the last week or so, I have been getting to know the Design Team, fantastically funny and warm…and I’ve been able to get my hands on some of the new releases. You are going to love them!! So many people email me asking where to get scripture stamps. Well hop right over to Our Daily Bread and keep an eye out for the new releases that will debut on August 15th; I’ll be showing the sets here as well. I’ve put the names of the Design Team in my sidebar…be sure you click over and see the samples they’ve made…this week they will be having some sneak peeks. Speaking of sneak peeks, I’m excited to have one for you today. The verse is one of my favorites, in fact, I wear a sterling bracelet with this verse inscribed. I would be naked without this bracelet so can you even imagine my joy when I learned that one of the new stamp sets would have this verse.
So, from August 15th until September 15th, I hope you’ll get excited about the ODBD new sets that I’ll be sharing. Also, don’t forget to leave a comment for the current blog candy here.

Paper: Bazzill, Creative Imaginations - Christine Adolph
Ink: SU Close to Cocoa (which is now Close to Chocolate because I used the wrong reinker)
Accessories: Ribbon, Brads, Martha Stewart Border Punch, Corner Punch
On another note, because I’ve been working on samples for the release of the new stamp sets, I’ve fallen a little behind with reading and responding to email as well as browsing and commenting on my daily blogs. I’m working at it :) thanks for your patience.

Oh my heavens! This card is fantastic — please, please — could you tell me about the leaf in the bottom panel of this card? Is it paper, a stamp (or two?) It is breath-taking and you incorporate all the details so well.
