CHA or Bust

I’m quite sure that you all thought I disappeared off of the face of the earth.  I’ve found things to be busy at CHA – you know, things to see, people to meet.  Since it is my first CHA you can imagine that my eyes are wide with wonder and it is sensory overload.  I wanted to hop online very quick to tell you about some new things that caught my eye.

Coming from a bona fide gadget junkie, this little baby is the niftiest tool.   It is made by Imaginisce and will be available starting September 1st.   It basically allows you to make covered buttons as brads using either paper, fabric, felt, lace, velour, velvet or any other material that is slightly pliable.  I’m a huge button/brad fanatic but my budget usually holds me back; I  can’t wait until I can make my own.   This tool make three different sizes and helps to cinch your material in the pink cups while the hammer looking piece of the tool pushes the back onto the brad and secures it.  You can have a look HERE to see the tool and supplies.

Moving on, I met a stamping icon at the Hero Arts booth. Jennifer McGuire, was doing make and takes and showing off lots of Hero Arts goodness.  Jennifer shared that Hero Arts is now selling stamps in a cling mounted format!!   Yay!!!   Although they already have clear offerings, those who love red rubber but bemoan the storage issue are definitely in luck!!

There are quite a few remarkable paper lines at the show so keep your eyes out for Graphic 45, Cosmo Cricket, Pink Paislee, October Afternoon, Jenny Bowlin.  Hint, hint, I’m twisting the arm of my good friend Michelle Rodgers with Stampers Dream that she needs to carry these.  So far she says I’m winning the battle and that some of these have arrived at her store with others soon on the way.

Here is a view of some of the Graphic45 paper . . .

That’s all for now, I’ll post more pictures soon!
