Can’t Wait Until New Years Giveaway! Happy New Year

WR-APG-Day1Giveaway
Hi there blog friends!!  It’s a known fact that I can be a little impatient, especially when it comes to a surprise or something good.  I can’t wait until midnight and you’ll be away at a party later tonite, so the celebration starts right now!  As I do on every New Year, I’ve saved up some awesome stuff to give away!  So Happy New Year – early! Today I’m giving away two sets of dies and one of the sets of stamps I designed – a small token of my thanks for what you do all year.  Well, what would dies be without something to cut them right?  Hint, hint, you’ll have to come back on January 1 to see what I’m giving away to go along with the dies.  For the prize today, simply leave a comment and share with me a one word wish for the New Year – you can leave a comment each day until the winner is selected.   I’ll share the name of the winners for this prize on January 3rd.

Card Making Ideas by Becca Feeken using Spellbinders Painted Lady - www.amazingpapergrace.com

To welcome in the New Year I made a card with the cute Spellbinders Painted Lady die template.  I’ve been dying to use and I thought it would be a perfect way to ring in the New Year.  The sentiment I simply printed off of my inkjet printer and cut using Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags.  Easy!

CRAFT SUPPLIES I USED
Stamps:  None
Craft Paper
:  Neenah Classic Crest – Natural White – Smooth, PTI – Spring Rain
Ink:  None
Accessories:  Spellbinders Painted Lady, Spellbinders Back to Basics Tags, The Paper Source Cream Satin Ribbon

I can’t wait for 2015, I have some surprises to share with you  . . .  like the first thing is I’m back in the saddle with YouTube.  So many of you asked me to get back into video tutorials so your wish is my command.  The first video should be airing soon!

My one word would be “giving” because the cards I make I am always mailing out to my church family and friends for thinking of you cards, birthdays, get wells, sympathy’s there are just endless needs for cards, and there is hardly a day that goes by that I am not making a card to “give” to someone. There are so many people that don’t have someone to show they care, so I am the “sunshine person” in my church group, and I try to fill that need as best I can. Your cards are always beautiful Becca, and I wish you a wonderful New Year of sharing your talents with others. We all need to send more love in this world! Happy New Year!!ReplyCancel

    Becca,

I am fairly new to your blog. I am amazed by your wonderful talent and it inspires me to do more with my card making. Life in this world is always uncertain, our days are numbered by God who created us, and our circumstances are not always to our liking. The one word I would wish for everyone in 2015 is “Jesus”. Without Him we are nothing and when this world passes away, knowing and living for Him is all that will matter. That is my prayer for the whole world.
    Best wishes, MarthaReplyCancel

I kinda have a hard with picking just one word, but as many others have said, this year over other years, I would have to say PEACE. World peace would be the best thing that could happen in 2015. As that will probably not happen, I will have to change my word to GOD. All we can do is pray for PEACE through our GOD.
Love the Painted Lady die as we have a few of this type of home in our little historic city; however, have not purchased it yet. Would love to win your blog candy. Best kind when you are on a diet!! LOL

Happy New Year Becca. Love your stamps. I have several of your stamps from JustRite Stamps and I do use them often. Having had health issues again this year, (I’m a cancer survivor), I thought my one word would be good HEALTH. If we all had good health, then there would be PEACE in the world and then all the world would be HAPPY. But, we each decide every day whether we will be happy or not. It is our decision each day. So I choose to be happy every day and at peace with what our Lord has in store for me. I too, am a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. There is nothing like a grandchild to bestow one’s love. For a 2 year old, he sure has me wrapped around his little finger. When he says “I love LaLa (that’s what he calls me) , need hug and gives me a kiss, what more could one ask for? So I guess my one word would be LOVE. Sorry this was so long.ReplyCancel
