I simply love this set of flowers!  They are designed so that they can be colored with markers and misted – quick and easy.   There are many more in the set, so I’m sure you’ll see more this week.    The flower image is slightly domed – I didn’t want it to lay completely flat –  and it is edged with Antique Linen Distress Ink.

Thanks so much for stopping by…I have a number of things on my craft desk so I hope to be back with a card tomorrow.

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Inspired – Brushed Flowers, PSX – Sentiment (retired)
Paper:  Bazzill, Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor Paper, Magenta DP
Ink:  SU Always Artichoke, Distress Ink – Antique Linen
Accessories:  Tombow Markers, Nestabilities, Fiskar Threaded Water Punch, SU Label Punch, McGill Oval Punch; McGill Word Tags Punch, Ribbon

Do you ever make a card that’s not drop-dead gorgeous?! I love the softness of this card, and the patterned paper blends with your image and subtle shading of the sentiment piece beautifully. Again, love your use of the Nestabilities and all the dimension.ReplyCancel

I’m really enjoying a challenge that  I decided to participate in called the Divine Design Challenge; you can search for it on Splitcoaststampers under the keyword BVC08.  It is a Bible Verse Challenge where many stampers have made a commitment to offer a card on the 8th of each month that includes scripture that holds special meaning to them.  You can read more about the challenge on Lori Craig’s blog  here.

I can’t wait to see what all the others have pulled together for this month’s challenge.  I’ve added quite a few new scripture to my favorites folder through some of the awesome posts through this challenge.    I’ll be back soon with another post.

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampabilities – Scripture, Paper Inspirations – Brushed Flowers
Paper: Bazzill, Fabriano Acquarello Watercolor, NRN Designs
Ink: Versafine – Black
Accessories:  Tombow Markers, Chipboard, Nestabilities, Bling, K&Co Flower, Cuttlebug Script Embossing Folder

I’ve been following the Divine Design Challenge and I’m so glad that you have joined. This Scripture is lovely on the watercolor looking flowers. I’m stashing your card idea in my collection of verses. I making a “recipe” box of cards for a friend for her Christmas present….12 cards for each month with a verse each to memorize. I’m making me one too.
You’re card is LOVELY and a great addition to my ideas.
    THANK YOU!!!!!ReplyCancel

I just spent the better part of two HOURS reading your blog and being amazed by your incredible talent! I LOVE your style and find your inspirational cards especially beautiful! I’m gonna have to come back and study up on your organizational tips for ribbon (I’m doing the jar thing and it’s kind of a pain). TFS!

Also, I thought I’d mention that I met Nancy B one time (at a CTMH convention in Portland a few years back)…we have the same upline (Cindy Baker). Small world. ;)ReplyCancel

I am so very thankful today…

…it doesn’t take much for me but stampers, bloggers and scrapbookers overflow with encouragement and I’m so thrilled that a couple have shared an award with me.  When someone takes the time to share a kind word, my goodness, it’s worth a million hugs.  Thank you so much Janine with 2BKrafty – what a doll you are as well as a source of daily inspiration!!    In addition, the award was also shared by Deb at IttyBittyInkspots .  This kind of generosity simply fills my sails!  I’ll run through my blog list to find some others  to pass this on to…in the meantime, heartfelt thanks.
