Blessed Man

Hello there!  I have a masculine card to share today.  I guess I didn’t really notice but I have very few sentiments in my stash that are specifically for men.  Thankfully this month
Our Daily Bread Designs released a number of men sentiments in their  Happy Father’s Day and Dad Set – this sentiment comes from the latter.   I was happy to pull out some of the embellishments from my stash that I thought would work with this card.
I’m intrigued by the Spellbinders™ Ric Rac Diamond Borderabilities® Petite – I decided to use it as a border around the entire card and I think it pushes home the masculine idea.  I also threw in some scallops with the Spellbinders™ Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite.  For the sentiment I used the Spellbinders™ Ribbon Tags Trio Two.  Then finally the leaves were made with Spellbinders™ On The Vine Border Grand.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Dad
Paper:  Bazzill, K & Co.
Ink:  Versamark and Black Embossing Powder
Accessories:Spellbinders™ Ric Rac Diamond Borderabilities® Petite,  Spellbinders™ Jumbo Scalloped Borderabilities® Petite, Spellbinders™ Ribbon Tags Trio TwoSpelllbinders™ On The Vine Border Grand, Ribbon, Prima Flower, Tim Holtz Hitch Fasteners, Tim Holtz Swivel Clasps, brads.

I hope you are having a marvelous weekend.  I sure don’t know where it went, but that must mean that I enjoyed it too.  See you soon!

This goes into my favorites list! You’ve got all the elements that stand out as your style, but the colors and textures are masculine! If it was pinks with a satin ribbon, it could be feminine. Not with that verse, of course! :o) I hope I can do it justice when I CASE it for my dear hubby! Thank you for sharing your exceeding talent!ReplyCancel
