You Will Bear a Son

Today I’m sharing one of the November releases from Our Daily Bread Designs – I Wait for the Lord.  Here I’ve taken the candle image and over stamped it with one of the sentiments in the set.  I was looking for a subtle look and was trying to keep everything monochromatic for this card.

The card is simple and the main panel is rather large.  Over the main panel  I popped up two layers using my Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangles.  Between  the two curved rectangles I sandwiched a length of ribbon then adorned with pearls and some prima flowers.

Then I decided I wanted to pair an ornament with the card.  This ornament is the Diamond Shaped Ornament showcased by Beate on the Splitcoaststampers Tutorial this week.  It went together in a cinch and was perfect to show off one of the sentiments that comes on the Worship the Lord set from Our Daily Bread Designs

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Our Daily Bread Designs – Worship the Lord, I Wait for the Lord
Paper:  Martha Stewart, The Paper Company – Blonde Columns
Ink:  Antique Linen Distress Ink, Vintage Photo Distress Ink
Accessories:  Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangles, Ribbon, Prima Flowers, Tulle, Pearls, Gold Cord

Are you taking time to enjoy the merriment of the season?  I hope you are savoring every minute.  I appreciate your stopping by – I’m working on more Christmas projects so I hope you’ll visit again soon.
