Artistic Passion

This poem is one that I had in front of me all last week and to many of you eight of the words will seem mildy familiar (smile).  I wish I knew who wrote it, I came across it in my travels and wrote it down in my journal.  I hope this gives you an artistic boost.   We’re all worthy artists, just be you and listen to your heart.  I can’t tell you how often I get emails or someone leaves a comment that they don’t think their art is worthy.  My only question would be – worthy of who?  Your art should be important to you and there is no mold that you have to fit into.  Go ahead, let your heart sing, just do it!!

Cheryl our Blog Candy winner claimed her prize and that lucky lady also had all eight beautiful words, so the punch is going out to her.  No worries, we’ll play again soon.

Hubby is doing fine by the way — he even drove the car yesterday!!  I didn’t quite know what to do with myself while I was riding because it has been so long.  I’m so thankful for the independence he’s regained.  Thanks so much for your prayers – I’m ever so mindful of how blessed I am.

Did you send this out to ME! LOL, I have been toying with the idea of starting a blog, and then decided not to because I was not “worthy” of all the extraordinary talent that is out there! So many times I want to enter into challenges, & can’t because I do not have one, thanx for the inspiration! Glad hubby is doing well, you’re both deserving of good things!ReplyCancel

    Becca:

Thank you for the beautiful words of encouragement. My Granddaughter will be going off to College in August. These will be the words I will send with her to post on your dorm room wall. (she has had a tough year, yet God has seen her through it-graduating with honors) Hopefully these words will encourage and inspire anyone who walks into her room and takes time to read it. Also glad to know Hubby is on the mend. It’s amazing to see how God works in the lives of his children. We are so blessed to be called His.ReplyCancel

    Dear Becca,
Are WE HUMBLE? I often wonder if artistic people really know how blessed they are. My daughter is very talented in art and also sings on worship team at church and I am very proud of her. But I would not be so thrilled if it were not also that she is humble. I have lost the ability to sing, and my creativity has also been greatly affected because I am ill. So I very much appreciate that you share your creativity with us because I really need it! ha ha And I believe you are humble because we know that all our creativity comes from the great creator. So if I were to add anything to this statement it would be are we Humble, and Thanksful for our gifts ? I look forward every day to see what you have posted, and it really has blessed me. Thanks , JoannaReplyCancel
