A Magnolia Hello

Greetings,

Just a little bit of fixing up and I was able to get this card off of my work table where it has languished for longer than I should admit.   This sweet Magnolia called #352 Tilda with Kitty from Magnolia-licious is as cute as a button.   I stamped her with a Tuxedo Black Memento Stamp pad on Neenah Classic Crest (Solar White) paper and colored her with Copic Markers.  And, what would we ever do without Antique Linen?  My paper was stark white so I dulled it up with Antique Linen Distress Ink including the pristine white ribbon.

I pulled out several of my Martha Stewart punches for the flowers on the right side of my card.  Yep, an easy card!

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Magnolia – #352 Tilda with Kitty
Paper:  Cosmo Cricket, Bazzill
Ink:  Memento – Tuxedo Black, Antique Linen Distress Ink
Accessories:  Copic Markers, Ribbon, Martha Stewart Crown Border, Crown Corner, Round Lattice Border, 10 Petal Flower, Large Chrysanthemum , Pop Up Flower, Corner Rounder

Thanks for stopping by and for goodness sake, go and have a great weekend!

She’s adorable Bekka! I had decided that I didn’t need those particular MS punches…well guess what…now I know I do need them. Thanks, I think! I do love a punch. At least I already have the loop set, thank goodness. Punch art went out of vogue a few years ago and I’m so happy to see it making a comeback. :)

how do you distress with the antique , is your card stock gloss? I often find that in my scrapping the page is just too white and I don’t necessarily want to put a colour behind. I know I have the Tim Holtz distress pads, is that it?ReplyCancel
